We have THE job for you Our client is an NPO that helps those in difficulty.

They are currently seeking a administrative assistant to join their Laval team.

Do you have great organizational abilities and are able to work with minimal supervision?

We would like to meet you Your role will be to: Support Customer Service with recurring tasks and during peak season (receive and process telephone calls and members’ requests for information).

Perform various clerical tasks such as writing correspondence, creating documents, reports, opening files, following up on sick leaves and vacation with employees, etc.

Follow up on employee administrative files.

Keep the member database up to date, as well as with the RAMQ.

Participate in planning and scheduling for external resources.

Carry out any other similar tasks requested by your immediate superior.

Group insurance offered after 3 months (approximately 55% paid by the employer).

Accumulate 6% of vacation upon hire and 4 weeks of vacation after 1 year.

Requirements: DCS in Business Administration or Office automation, DVS in Secretariat OR relevant experience.

Proficiency with MS Office.

At least 1 year of experience in an administrative and/or customer service role.

Excellent ability to communicate in French, speaking and writing.

Ability to easily converse in English, especially verbally.

The ideal candidate will: Have excellent organizational skills.

Have excellent time and priority management.

Be able to manage multiple files and projects while meeting deadlines.

Demonstrate discernment, discretion and professionalism at all times.

Be proactive and have initiative.
