Job Description:
The Director, Distribution Compensation Services, provides strategic and operational leadership to deliver industry leading compensation services to multiple Business Units. This role leads several teams that are responsible for the administration of the compensation program as well as the contracting and licensing process. The Director will provide leadership and guidance for these areas to deliver exceptional service in a timely and professional manner.
The Director is also responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with many key business partners and stakeholders, which includes other teams within Sun Life, MGAs and Advisors. The Director will also get involved in initiatives that impact Distribution Compensation Services and support the development and execution of a digital transformation.
This position will have 3-5 direct reports, about 40 in-direct reports, and will report to the AVP, Distribution Compensation Services.

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
