Adecco Professional is currently partnering with a dynamic and growing manufacturing client in to hire for an HR Generalist / Human Resource Generalist job opening in Saint-André-Avellin, QC. This full-time, permanent career opportunity is best suited for a driven, hands-on HR professional with at least 3-5 years direct HR Generalist experience to bring to the table. This individual is the main HR professional in this location and works closely with the North American HR team; this includes Global interaction/exposure of this large, expanding firm. The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for all the HR related functions of the site and will provide variety and challenge while allowing the individual to bring in new strategic ideas. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, with a keen eye for improvement in a team-oriented collaborative company.

Some of the responsibilities of the HR Generalist / Human Resource Generalist job opening in Saint-André-Avellin, QC may include but are not limited to:

· Taking lead on recruitment requirements; ensuring interaction and communication with the hiring manager at all times; this includes consulting on market rates, trends and candidate experience

· Employee relations from all HR related angles and ensuring staff understand any new/updated policies and procedures clearly

· Work with the benefit plan and compensation structure to ensure we are keeping competitive and any related responsibility

· Assist employees with HR related questions such as benefits, employee relations, internal applications, employee service and more

· Take lead on various HR initiatives and project within the organization bringing new and fresh ideas to the table

· Strategic planning and sharing/presenting to leadership team ideas, concerns, updated legislation etc.

· Ensure all Provincial and Federal employment legislation and compliance is adhered to and communicated

· Additional duties as necessary

Some of the key requirements to be considered for the Human Resource Generalist / HR Generalist job opening in Saint-André-Avellin, QC may include but are not limited to:

· At least 3-5 years’ experience in an HR Generalist capacity; asset to those who come from manufacturing industry

· Fully bilingual, French and English (mandatory); excellent communication skills in both official languages

· Completed post-secondary education; completed or pursuing your CRHA an asset

· Driven, hard-working, flexible – you have a very hands-on approach to get the job done

· Someone who takes initiative and is passionate about the role the department plays in a successful organization (please note this is part of a global organization)
